It is a great album indeed. I just like the 'songs' more than noise tracks. I don't DISLIKE the digestible interludes, but I always like the end of an album to end with a song rather the sounds of being eaten. Again, defying expectations like the best art does, but a brother does have his preferences :) It's still a masterpiece.

This record doesn't have a bad track on it. I love the noise interludes, they sound to me like bears eating people, and really function well as a sort of break to cleanse your musical palate at strategic points in the album. To take a break, let you digest (whilst listening to something that sounds quite a bit like digestion) and get ready to hear the next song. My first listen through this album had me going, "yeah, I know this song, i know this song, i know this song too." The second had me really appreciating how well everything sticks together here and how well the mood is sustained throughout. Great album. Great fucking album.
